The Half Black Angel is closely related to the Eibli Angel, Centropyge eibli. This Pygmy Angel may nip at sessile invertebrates as well as clams, so please use caution when introducing into a reef tank. Although the Half Black Angel is mild-mannered, there may be some signs of territoriality towards other Pygmy Angels in tanks smaller than 75 gallons. Also a shy species, plenty of hiding places should be provided. |
